Chimaerus the Undreamt God
The fight is won or lost on add control. Every Manifestation that reaches the boss permanently empowers it. Three stacks and the fight becomes unwinnable.
🛡 Tank
Position Chimaerus centrally — Manifestations spawn from the arena's edges and converge inward.
Intercept Manifestations entering Reality by standing in their path to briefly slow their advance.
Taunt any Manifestation that slips past DPS — prevent it from reaching Chimaerus at all costs.
Use defensives after each intermission — the boss's melee damage scales with every Cannibalized Essence stack.
Face Chimaerus away from the raid — frontal Phlegm Glob salvos spread in a wide arc.
✚ Healer
Rift Sickness deals sustained Nature damage to all players every second — this is a throughput fight, not a reactive one.
Heal proactively and maintain steady output throughout — do not wait for health bar spikes.
Time cooldowns for when multiple Manifestations are vulnerable simultaneously (peak DPS window = peak incoming damage).
After each intermission, top the tank immediately — Chimaerus resets aggro and opens with heavy melee.
Split the raid into two equal groups (1 Tank / 2 Healers / 7 DPS each) before the pull for efficient Manifestation coverage.
⚔ DPS
You cannot damage Manifestations without Alnsight — gain the buff before engaging adds.
Clear Manifestations in strict priority order: the type closest to Chimaerus always dies first.
Every Manifestation consumed by Chimaerus adds a permanent +50% damage stack to the boss.
After 3–4 Cannibalized Essence stacks the fight becomes mathematically unwinnable — zero tolerance for missed adds.
Save AoE burst cooldowns for windows when multiple Manifestations become vulnerable simultaneously.
Avoid standing in front of Chimaerus during Phlegm Glob — the cone hits anyone near the frontal arc.
🛡 Tank
Chimaerus gains Cannibalized Essence 50% faster — each add must die within 8 seconds of spawn or the spiral begins.
Manifestations on Heroic move faster toward the boss — tank interceptions must happen earlier in their path, not near the center.
Melee damage after intermissions scales more steeply with each Essence stack — rotate defensives more conservatively.
Pre-position for each new wave's entry point — reaction intercepts are too slow on Heroic spawn speeds.
✚ Healer
Rift Sickness ticks every 0.75 seconds instead of every 1 second — sustained throughput requirement increases by 25%.
Reserve a second major cooldown specifically for the mid-fight intermission — Normal-tier cooldown rotation is insufficient on Heroic.
Peak DPS windows for adds on Heroic are shorter — coordinate cooldown timing more precisely with DPS.
The raid takes increased damage during AoE add windows — do not drop throughput during these moments even if you're moving.
⚔ DPS
A 4th Manifestation type appears on Heroic — the Void Shard — which reflects damage back to any melee attacker. Assign ranged DPS exclusively to Void Shard duty.
Void Shards must be called out immediately on spawn — melee DPS must avoid engaging them completely.
Three Manifestation types now active simultaneously in later waves — kill priority is: closest to boss first, Void Shard second (ranged only), then furthest.
Alnsight uptime is more critical — losing the buff mid-wave on Heroic causes a missed Manifestation that accelerates the loss spiral.
🛡 Tank
Dream Collapse at 50% and 25% HP physically shrinks the arena ring. Players outside the new boundary after 3 seconds are killed instantly.
Communicate Dream Collapse the moment it begins — the visual indicator is subtle and easy to miss mid-fight.
After each collapse, reposition Chimaerus to the new center — the boss must remain at the center of the reduced arena.
Post-collapse melee damage spikes significantly due to the reduced space and continued Essence scaling — use defensives immediately after boundary forms.
✚ Healer
Dream Collapse locks all healing cooldowns for 15 seconds — your major cooldowns go on extended lockout after each collapse. Plan throughput around these forced dead windows.
Pre-top the entire raid before each expected collapse — anyone below 50% HP entering the boundary change is at high risk of dying to the arena damage tick.
Two Dream Collapses means two 15-second lockout windows — map your full cooldown roster to the timeline before the pull.
Rift Sickness damage does not pause during collapse — maintain throughput even while repositioning in the shrinking arena.
⚔ DPS
During Dream Collapse, Manifestations spawn at triple the normal rate for 10 seconds. Pre-assign a 3-person dedicated add kill team that does nothing else during this window.
The add kill team must maintain Alnsight through the collapse transition — losing the buff during triple-spawn is an unrecoverable cascade.
The reduced arena after each collapse limits movement paths — pre-plan Manifestation intercept angles for the smaller space.
Use Heroism/Lust immediately after the first Dream Collapse resolves — the subsequent triple-spawn window plus higher damage environment is the fight's peak pressure point.
