2 Bosses • Opened March 31, 2026 • The most demanding raid of Season 1. A Light & Void alignment system introduced on Boss 1 carries directly into the final boss — understand it or wipe on the last fight.
Boss 1 of 2
Belo'ren, Child of Al'ar
A phoenix raised to guard the Sunwell. Alternates between Light-dominant and Void-dominant phases. The fight doesn't end when his health drops to zero.
🛡 Tank
Position the phoenix away from the raid during grounded phases — wing slam cleaves a wide frontal.
When Belo'ren retreats into the Ashen Egg at 0 HP, maintain threat on the egg and pop a defensive.
Coordinate positioning with healers during Voidlight Convergence — tanks absorb the highest burst.
After Belo'ren resurrects from the egg, taunt immediately — he resets to full energy on rebirth.
During Light phases, stand in Light zones; during Void phases, stand in Void zones to reduce personal damage.
✚ Healer
A strong dispel bench is mandatory — Voidlight Convergence misaligns players; dispel wrong assignments fast.
During the Ashen Egg phase, top everyone off — Rebirth triggers a full raid burst on reemergence.
Mass Dispel (Priest) is ideal for clearing multiple misaligned players simultaneously.
Assign dispel priority list before the pull — tanks first, then DPS with wrong color alignment.
⚔ DPS
Strictly follow color assignments — absorb only the feather matching your assigned element (Light or Void).
Designate one caller before the pull to announce color assignments each phase; confusion here causes instant wipes.
When Belo'ren reaches 0 HP, pivot ALL damage to the Ashen Egg within 3 seconds.
Destroy the egg fast enough to reduce Immortal Flame stacks before Rebirth — too slow equals a full reset.
If Belo'ren resurrects, re-establish color assignments before re-engaging.
🛡 Tank
Wing Slam now applies a 6-second bleed to the active tank — taunt timing must account for bleed duration, not just direct exposure.
Voidlight Convergence hits the tank for 40% more than on Normal — defensive must be active when it lands, not after.
Ashen Egg phase is shorter — repositioning for Rebirth must begin immediately when the egg forms, not after you finish healing.
Belo'ren resets to full energy faster on Heroic after Rebirth — taunt within 1 second of reemergence or he charges a random player.
✚ Healer
Color phase switches happen every 45 seconds instead of 60 — dispel windows are shorter and require faster reaction.
Light phase burst damage now hits multiple players simultaneously — AoE healing cooldowns are more effective than single-target on Heroic.
Ashen Egg phase is your only real downtime — use it to top the raid fully and pre-position for Rebirth.
Assign a second dispeller specifically for Voidlight Convergence misalignment — one dispeller cannot keep up with the increased frequency on Heroic.
⚔ DPS
The Ashen Egg gains a Sunfire Shield on Heroic that must be burst through before egg damage can land — assign your 3 highest burst DPS to this window exclusively.
Egg destruction time window is tighter — DPS must pivot within 2 seconds of Belo'ren hitting 0 HP, not 3.
Color switch frequency is higher — the phase caller must announce every switch immediately; delayed calls cause mass misalignment.
Absorbing the wrong feather on Heroic applies a 12-second damage-taken debuff rather than just damage — it cascades through the rest of the phase.
🛡 Tank
Eternal Flame on Mythic: Belo'ren resurrects from the egg with a rotating fire line sweeping the arena. Both tanks must anchor at opposite ends to keep the path predictable.
The fire line rotates continuously for 20 seconds after Rebirth — maintain your anchor position for the full duration, do not chase the boss.
After Eternal Flame ends, Belo'ren enrages briefly — defensives must be stacked for the first 5 seconds post-flame.
Pre-position at your anchor point before the egg phase begins — reacting to Eternal Flame's start is too slow.
✚ Healer
Eternal Flame deals 20% max HP per second to anyone in its rotating path — zero tolerance for mispositioned players. Pre-position the raid strictly before the egg forms.
The raid cannot spread freely during Eternal Flame due to the sweeping fire — position healers at the anchor points alongside the tanks.
Healing cooldowns used during the egg phase cannot be available for Eternal Flame — save one major cooldown specifically for the post-Rebirth window.
After Eternal Flame ends, resume standard phase healing immediately — Belo'ren re-enters combat with high energy and color switches resume instantly.
⚔ DPS
On Mythic, destroying the egg does not reduce Immortal Flame stacks. Instead, egg damage charges a Sunwell Surge meter — fill it fully before Rebirth or the resurrection wipes the group.
The Sunwell Surge meter requires more total damage than the egg has HP on lower difficulties — burst DPS assignment to the egg is mandatory, not optional.
During Eternal Flame, DPS must navigate the sweeping fire while maintaining damage on Belo'ren — use the safe zones between anchor points to maintain uptime.
Use Heroism/Lust at the Sunwell Surge meter activation — amplified damage during egg phase fills the meter faster and reduces Eternal Flame duration.
Boss 2 of 2 — Season Finale
Midnight Falls
The hardest encounter of Midnight Season 1. Escalating chaos with no ceiling. The Light & Void system from Belo'ren carries forward — come in knowing your assignment. Required utilities: Priest Mass Dispel, interrupt coverage on Termination Prism, and a designated Void/Light caller.
🛡 Tank
The most mechanically demanding tank fight of Season 1 — positioning rotates constantly as zones shift.
Assign one tank to Light phases, one to Void phases — coordinate transitions cleanly.
Stack defensives on every Midnight Surge — each one hits harder than the last as damage amps stack.
Off-tank takes doubled damage during their phase element — communicate spike windows to healers.
When adds spawn during Surge windows, hold them immediately — loose adds wipe the group.
✚ Healer
Mandatory: bring at least one Priest. Mass Dispel is required for Termination Prism debuff cleanse.
Pre-assign interrupt rotations between healers for Termination Prism — do not rely on DPS alone.
Use major cooldowns at fixed phase intervals — do not save them. Chaos phases can last minutes.
Assign one healer to monitor the off-tank continuously — Void phase doubles their incoming damage.
Keep the raid above 75% entering each Surge — Midnight Falls checks group health at detonation.
⚔ DPS
Interrupt Termination Prism at all costs — it applies a lethal stacking debuff to the entire raid.
Assign interrupts by cooldown rotation, not volunteers — there is no margin for human error here.
Maintain your Light/Void alignment from the Belo'ren fight — it carries over and affects damage taken.
Save Heroism/Lust for the final phase when Midnight's damage amp reaches maximum stacks.
During Surge windows, pivot to priority adds immediately before returning to boss — adds left up wipe the group.
🛡 Tank
Midnight Surge now strikes 3 times in quick succession — 3 separate defensive cooldowns required per Surge window, not one.
Coordinate with your co-tank to never overlap defensive windows — at least one tank must have a defensive available at all times during Surge.
Adds spawning during Surge windows are more numerous on Heroic — AoE taunt immediately rather than picking them up individually.
Phase transition timing is faster — both tanks must call and execute alignment swaps within 2 seconds of each transition.
✚ Healer
Termination Prism now applies to 3 players simultaneously instead of 1 — Mass Dispel becomes mandatory, not just recommended.
3-target Termination Prism means the Priest must be held in reserve for this dispel exclusively during Prism windows.
Triple Midnight Surge means 3 cooldowns consumed per Surge — map out your full cooldown roster before the pull.
Off-tank damage during Void phase is extreme on Heroic — assign a dedicated healer to them for the duration of each Void phase.
⚔ DPS
Adds during Surge windows now spawn with a Void Shield — burst through it within 6 seconds or the add permanently links to Midnight and increases her damage dealt.
Assign 2 DPS exclusively to add Void Shield breaking during Surge windows; they drop boss immediately when adds spawn.
Interrupt rotation for Termination Prism must account for 3 simultaneous dispels — interrupters and the Priest must coordinate without stepping on each other.
Light/Void alignment carries harder penalties on Heroic — being in the wrong zone during a Surge amplifies the damage taken by 40%.
🛡 Tank
Eclipse Collapse at 30% HP forces both tanks into their opposite alignment for the remainder of the fight. All defensive strategies built around your original element must be rebuilt immediately.
The Light tank becomes Void-aligned and the Void tank becomes Light-aligned — both now take increased damage from their new element. Communicate immediately and swap all positioning assumptions.
Eclipse Collapse also resets all phase assignments — the caller must re-announce zone assignments for every player within 5 seconds of the collapse.
After Eclipse Collapse, Midnight Surge fires at double frequency — defensive cooldown management becomes critical for the final burn.
✚ Healer
Eclipse Collapse applies Termination Prism to 8 players simultaneously — hold the Priest's Mass Dispel exclusively for this moment. Do not use it for anything else before 30% HP.
After Eclipse Collapse, both tanks take increased damage from their new element — double the healing attention on both tanks during the realignment window.
Healing cooldowns must be available for Eclipse Collapse — plan the entire cooldown roster backward from the 30% HP trigger point.
Post-collapse Midnight Surge frequency doubles — you will burn through cooldowns rapidly. Communicate cooldown availability loudly and continuously.
⚔ DPS
After Eclipse Collapse, all DPS alignment assignments flip as well — every player is now in the wrong zone. The caller must immediately re-announce all assignments.
Use Heroism/Lust within the first 10 seconds of Eclipse Collapse — misalignment debuffs compound over time and the fight becomes unwinnable if the kill does not happen quickly.
Shield-breaking DPS on adds must continue through the Eclipse Collapse transition without pausing — adds do not stop spawning during the alignment flip.
The 30% HP kill window is the defining execution challenge of the tier — every major cooldown must be held for the Eclipse Collapse and used within 15 seconds of it triggering.
